Egusi soup

Egusi soup is one of the easiest and commonly consumed food in Nigeria. Although most tribes have different ways of making it.
This was made with grounded melon seeds, palm oil, cowleg (Ox leg), stockfish, pomo, dryfish, crayfish, seasonings,  vegetables (pumpkin /ugwu leaf or  okazi or uziza) which ever option you prefer. Although i used okazi and uziza. this combo was heavenly.

share your view on how you cook yours and what you eat it with.

  3. I love egusi ball soup. It is delicious. In this recipe you mould the egusi into balls after seasoning it with pepper, maggi and salt. When cooked, you make ur achi soup with it using uha and uziza as vegetable. Delicious with fufu, pounded yam or eba
